unemployment extensions?
does anyone know what the unemployment extension regulations are in the state of CA? I am almost out of benefits and still haven't found a job. Do they offer any kind of extension program? I have tried calling them for over a month now and get through to anyone! Thank you.

I am in DC but I would suggest you go to the office in person to discuss. It is often the only way to get things done there.
But prepared to take some time. |

There are no states that are currently offering benefits beyond the duration of regular state benefits. There is now talk of a federal stimulus package that will include benefit extensions.
