i was injured on the job 8 months ago the company carries their on insurance for work related injuries i have been told i can only work up to 12 weeks on light duty before i have to take a leave of absents in which i get paid 80% of my pay based on 12 weeks but only receive 2 checks for every year i have been employed at fulltime status which stopped 8 months ago when injured . leaving me with 1 year status in the company now none of this would be an issue if i was being approved for all my medical needs but everything is so drawn out . i received a call from their risk managment team which appologized for dropping the ball and forgetting about me the doctors they sent me to in the begining (pro med) had informed me that i was fine and that i needed to get back work because i still had use of my arms eventhough it put me into tears with excruciating pain to walk ,stand, sit breath, move and so on after raising hell for about a month the pro med doctor told me if iwas in that much pain then go to the hospital because there was nothing he could do for me he wasnt a back doctor , the emergency room doctor said all symtoms i descrbed led him to believe i had a slipped disc verses the pro med diagnosis of a lower lumbar sprain and finally after being sent back to pro med to see there back speciallist he sent me for a MRI which reveled 3 slipped disc and 1 herniated disc which pro med doctor #3 said oh well that would explain your pain. i am now seeing a good group of doctors but i have a very hard time getting anything approved except for pain pills and im still working full time single parent and just trying to balance it all i have been asked if i was planning to sue and my responce to that is just fix me so i can get back to my life with my family and work, and i cant even seem to get that done i am now considering the option to sue if it will be worth it because i feel i have been compltely wronged here .

It is certainly possible you have a case based on what you say here; you should take a brief description of these events as well as your medical records to an injury or workers comp attorney and see if the attorney thinks you have a claim; often you need to contact several attorneys to find one to take the case; the review of your case and records is often free and then they will normally take the case if they think you can win; you would pay only if they collect for you...or a state regulated fee can be charged...
