I would like to inform you that if the employee directs that the employee utilize a specific parking lot or a common area in a commonly owned parking lot, then the injures that occur in the parking are considered arising out of and in the course of employment and are considered compensable.

Where did you get that this person is employed by the 7-Eleven? She didn't say anything about being an employee there.

Surely it depends on the type and size of defect and whether or not the 7 eleven can show they inspect and maintain the car park area regularly. These are the crucial liability issues in the UK for this type of accident.
