I went to the Apple 5th Ave store. I ended up cutting my foot on a step in their glass spiral staircase. My foot was bleeding and a Manager tended to me. I gave them information for an incident report, cleaned my wound and iced it. 24 hours later, my foot hurts. The wound looks better, but walking (as i need to because i'm searching for a job) is difficult and/or painful at any time. I would normally tough it out, but I have some interviews coming up with other employers I will be having a difficult time getting to. When offered an ambulance, i declined because i would not be able to afford it. What should I do now? Do I have a case for any compensation? How could i go about finding the best possible next step?
I got a call for someone from their claims department asking questions. I assume they want to say they are not liable. |

I wish to inform you that Apple store is liable to provide you compensation for your injury and also pain and suffering. In this regard the incident has happened at Apple Store and thus they are liable for compensation. If you have refused ambulance then this will not affect Apple Store liability because that ambulance was to be provided to you at your expense and not at the expense of Apple Store.

If the facts are true, the Apple store is liable for your injury. As the injury was caused at the Apple store they are also liable to compensate you for the personal injury, mental agony, and emotional distress you have suffered. It is better advised that you may consult with a Personal injury Attorney who can give a proper guidance in this regard.

I agree with above! They are liable for compensation, you can ask for compensation. You should meet some personal injury attorneys, they help in getting compensation for the injuries. make sure you meet them with all your reports.

I am sorry to hear of your injury. This type of legal matter is often called "premises liability", meaning a store such as you have mentioned has a legal duty toward its patrons to provide a reasonably safe environment. I would suggest speaking to a plaintiffs' trial attorney for a free consultation. That way you could weigh your options how to be proceed. I hope all goes smoothly.

Have you consulted any lawyer for the case? You should claim your compensation very firmly.
