I am out on an injury to my wrist until its healed. I am just now beginning to recieve workers comp. My child support is now a whole one day late for the first time ever. It was agreed divorce and nothing was court ordered. Its payed to her monthly. She called getting hateful threating to turn it into the state so that I would have to pay it to them now that its late. Saying she has to have it by Friday and that I have to have something set back for it at which I do not. I told her that she should have been saving part of the support for emergency situations for like this instead of fully including basing into her monthly budget. The support is more than 400 every month that I give her. Anyone got some information to help with this? I told her as soon as I that the full amount I would i give it to her as I always have.

I wish to inform you that you cannot be held liable for child support. At present your child support agreement is not approved from court and in the absence of court order private agreement between parties is not enforceable through court. You may inform other person that she must first obtain a court order regarding child support and then your liability arises. Parties can enter child support agreement but that child support agreement must be approved through court. You may inform law enforcement agencies that there does not exist any court order or court approved agreement in which you are liable to pay child support.
