added info. While at work, fell into 1 of three uncautioned man holes being pumped by a hired third party. Injurying self. Work Comp taking care of medical as far as a know so far. Is such a incident able to receive pain and suffering from the third party as well as not covered medical, injuries still under investigation don't know if long term. If so any good guidlines on amount to P&S.

Yes if you can make a case for such damages. The city has a good deal of immunity however in some cases if they are involved; you should take a brief description of these events as well as your medical records to an injury attorney and see if the attorney thinks you have a claim; often you need to contact several attorneys to find one to take the case; the review of your case and records is often free and then they will normally take the case on a contingency fee basis if they think you can win; you would pay only if they collect for you...
