Default Injury and Worker's Compensation Related to Bankruptcy

I have been in chapter 13 bankruptcy for 2 1/2 years of a 5 year legnth time period. I was reacently hurt at work and workman's comp as well as the construction company that caused the injury are willing to settle with me. Do I have to pay the money to the bankruptcy court? The bankruptcy is in KY.

I wish to inform you that workers compensation may not form part of your estate and may be exempt from your creditors. Generally with the exception of child support claim workers compensation amount is not attachable. In Kentucky under section 342.180 Workers' compensation is exempt.

I suggest you no to pay anything to company that injured you. I suggest you to proceed legally according to the laws laid down.
