I wish to inform you that you have suffered injury because of negligence of store. In this regard you can file a suit for injury suffered by you. You may claim all your losses as are related to this injury. In court you will be required to show that because of the injury you are unable to work and had suffered pain. This fact can be shown from your doctor's certificate. This is a 'premises liability' case and the property owner has a duty of care towards the property.

Not really.

You can sue for injuries if you can prove the injuries. It is hard but not impossible to sue for speculative lost wages (as opposed to actual job time loss)
