Here is the first question.

What is the Federal Penalty for falsifying evidence under Title 18?

They can certainly be
jailed for up to a year--more in certain situations.

Now because of this Daniels thing in TN, Viv's TennCare or morelike TennWhoCares, Viv is only 48 years old and of sound mind and although many of her friends have contacted her lawmakers, she is being forced off of TennCare, her wheelchair, oxygen and hospital bed will soon be taken away and she now has no medical coverage, no aide, nothing and will be forced into a nursing home, which TennWhoCares WILL pay for at a much GREATER cost..............DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE! I am a Social worker from OHIO and this is cruel and unusual punishment! WAKE UP TENNESSEE. CAN SOMEONE HELP THIS WOMAN!!!!! THIS MUST NOT BE AN ELECTION YEAR, HUH?

Confused Re: Dieing in Tullahoma

I am a friend of Viv, the lady in Tullahoma, TN who is in a medical crisis. She had a long on-going Worker's Compensation case and won. The court ordered for her to receive weekly WC payments until she turns 62, at which time she would go on the roles of Medicare. However, because her current income is the WC $877 a month, she is now being denied medical care except for skin rash meds and care for the spider bite and MRSA that was a result of an infection in the bite. She can't get any other kind of medical care or medications for other ailments and she is very ill:

COPD (oxygen-dependant 24/7 at 2-3 LPM per NC)

CHF

A tumor weighing over 130 lbs on her abdomen, with overstretched skin causing seepage of bodily fluids from it and on which there is also a hernia. She is too high risk to have surgery as she has MRSA in her lungs and also the anesthesia is too risky. (I have photos of the tumor and frankly, it is totally gross and adds so much to her inability to move a round.)

She is wheel-chair bound and has a hospital bed, with floatation pad along with a trapeze.

She also is a diabetic which complicates her case.

This lady is 48 and in dire need of getting medical care. There has to be someone out there, an attorney, a government official .... just someone who can help her in her plight. She has nothing. No family to care for her. Can't barely care for herself, if at all.

What is wrong with this country, and especially TENNCARE cutting her off from her eligibility? Is this a sign of times to come from the new health care? It sems that nobody cares if she lives or dies. She has no medical insurance and can't afford any, either.

Yet, they are willing to put her into a nursing home! COME ON! This is really ignorant as the cost of care for her in a nursing home is astronomical compared to allowing her to remain at home with a home care aide, home health nurse, and whatever other help she could get at home.

Where are the folks we need to contact? Who will take on this case and get results? Results now, not tomorrow or next week. Her health is at stake, as is her life.

Please contact me at rgvalleygal@msn.com if you have valid solutions! Thank you and be blessed.
