Question How do I make sure my job isn't screwing me on my Worker's Comp Claim?

Hi, I am a truck driver. I injured my back on the job. My terminal is based in Oklahoma but I hurt my back in California (Los Angeles). I currently live in Los Angeles as well. I was ordered (by my job) to go to a doctor for analysis. I was told (by the doctor) to stay on "light duty" and I cannot lift more than 30lbs at a time. Also, I cannot sit for more than one hour at a time. My job called me this morning informing me that they have "light duty" work for me in Oklahoma. I informed them that I have a family in LA and wish to work here, but if the only "light work" is in Oklahoma then I must do it. However, my job wants to send me on a bus ride to Oklahoma from California. This is an estimated 2 day ride with 2 hour stops. I am under the impression that this bus ride doesn't agree with doctor's orders. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated as I've never dealt with this type of situation before.

have your doctor give them a letter saying the bus will not work--frankly air is almost the same price if reserved properly
