Blood in pre packed foods?

I'm not too sure about this, but while i was eating a rice krispy i looked down and found blood in it. I don't know if the blood is mine or not. I checked my mouth for any sign of bleeding and I found none. So my question is, should I get this looked into further just for my safety?

I know I can't sue unless injured and all that, but I am just really scared if it could be someone else blood.

Any advice on how to go about this?
