I would like some help with the next step I should take... I was injured at work in June '08 (truck driver - I was stepping on to the forklift when I snapped both peroneal tendons). I had surgery late June where they were only able to re-attach one and have been on Workers Comp since. My Dr. felt I reached MMI in January and sent me for a FCE. The woman doing the testing blatantly lied about several of the items - she said I had no difficulty completing the toe walk when I cannot stand on my toes at all. The same for heal-toe walk and the stair test (they didn't even have a stair test). She sent these results to the Dr and Workers Comp. On the basis of that they have listed me as 3% disability and are trying to finalize this. Who do I turn to? I am in St. Petersburg, FL and would like to have some recourses locally. Thanks for your help.
