Help my kids and I in a store robbery

our local small store was robbed at knife point whilst I had just gotten some groceries, the store owner tackled the robber and he was stabbed in the leg several time witnessed by 2 childen ages 7 and 9 they are now absolutlety terrified at night my 7 year old wont even go to the bathroom on his own now and sleeps in my bed, is their anyway I can sue for any kind of therapy I went to doctors and he said 1st consult was free but i had to pay $180 a week each child after that !
to add to that ive been subpoenad as he has pleaded not guilty it was very scarey, its in orange county florida .

Not really. You can sue the robber but it may be hard to collect.

The store is not liable normally. It was not their fault.
