Hospital Injury

Time might have expired for this, but I am curious. In 2001 I stayed over night in a mental clinic due to depression from an incident in my life. The next day I wanted to go, but an employee working behind a desk told me I could not go because they found Marijuana in my blood test results. I informed him that that was impossible because I never in my life smoked marijuana. He insisted that due to this test result, I had to stay. The next day I was informed that he had read the wrong report, and that in fact it was not mine. Staying the extra-night caused me much grief and emotional distress.

I was wondering if I have a law suit against them for this? Is there a statute of limitation on time?
