Confused Elevator injury at work

I was on an elevator going to the mailroom, when after just a few moments, it felt as though it fell a short distance and then came to crashing halt throwing me to the floor. I have co-workers who have been trapped in this elevator before, so it has a bad history. I went to the doctor and found out it's just a sprained back and wrist, but I've been in constant pain since the accident. I started taking physical therapy, and I have to continue going two times a week for 3 weeks. I will end up using all of my personal leave and some of my vacation because of this accident that wasn't my fault. I spoke to one lawyer who told me "chalk it up to s*&t happens". I may not be permanently injured, but this doesn't seem right. Is there anything I can do?

Talk to a personal injury lawyer immediatly. Don't talke to insurance companies. I think you have a potentially big case here with lots of $$$$.

You need a lawyer and you need to have compensation or insurance through your company pay for this.

There is a chance this could cause you life long problems...you need to make sure all is okay.

This is not a case of Sh*& happens - at least in the countries I have lived in. If you were working that's works and works insurances' problems.

Thumbs Up Re: Elevator injury at work

Hire the Personal Injury Lawyer if you had lost so much money. And be sure he will give you more than the insurance company.
