Red Face surgery does the cost of my surgery considered part of my settlment

Indio, Calif.
I have a lawyer who I am totally displeased with in my workers comp. case. I don't call backs much less questions answered so I have told her office I want to only communicate with with me via e-mail. And she keeps me totally in the dark.
#1 Can I fire her?
#2 When I told my atty didn't want surgery, I am almost 60, and there is not guarantee there will be sufficient improvement. State disability has already said I was "set" and disabled, and that recovery would take aprox. a year.
#2 If I have surgery does the cost of my surgery considered part of my settlment? To where more of my monies goes to my atty?
#3 Do I sue Wal~mart when my workers comp case is settled?
#4 Financially what is my best course of action?
be honest ~ What would you recomend that your mother do? I probably will be living on pain pills no matter which option I pick. If I have the surgery I do I continue to rec. the payments that I am from workers comp right now? while recovering and rehabing?

Professional Negligence Claims

PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS - SOLICITORS PROFESSIONAL NEGLIGENCE

If you you feel your existing Solicitor has not handled your case properly, we may be able to help you claim the compensation to which you are entitled.

In Solicitors professional negligence claims, failure to issue or serve your claim on the defendants within the time limits allowed by the court, and failure to comply with other time limits are the most common causes of a claim for professional negligence.

In addition, solicitors sometimes issue proceedings against the wrong defendant, or fail to notice a specific type of claim that you could make.

In other cases clients have been wrongly advised to settle when they could in fact have received a larger sum.

MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE (CLINICAL NEGLIGENCE)

Although every year huge numbers of people are treated by healthcare professionals, there are cases where things go wrong.

We have experience in dealing with claims against GP’s and Hospitals for, amongst other things, incorrect diagnosis, negligent treatment and failure to perform surgery to an acceptable standard.

Compensation

The amount of compensation received depends upon how serious your injuries are and what other losses you have incurred, including:

* Any future or anticipated loss of earnings, including overtime and bonuses
* Travel to and from medical appointments
* Any medication
* Care given by members of your family or others
* Damage caused to any of your personal effects

There are many other items for which you are entitled to claim compensation, including damages to compensate for having to give up a job you enjoy because of your injuries, and we will deal with these for you.
