If the injury was that severe, do not settle or close the case until you do your research. Reduced vision is a serious matter and will affect you for the rest of your life. A lawyer is necessary...

Exclamation Re: eye injury

i was unknowingly perscribed steroid eyedrops for 9 yrs by my gp with no reviews as to why i was still requesting monthly perscriptions for a red eye problem.i thought these drops were some kind of moisture drops until my eyesight rapidly declined over 6mths and visited a optition, the optition found the presure behind the eye dangerously high and that i had cataracts in both eyes,i was sent immediatly to hostiple were docters managed to get down my pressure and was told i had glucoma and cateracts in both eyes, when i told them about the eye drops and the name of them they said my problems were highly likely caused by over use of steroid drops.i have since had laser surgery and 2 cataract operations,i have contacted a solicitor but there are high fees invovled and im scared i could lose.what is your opinion on this case do you think i should go ahead.thank you
