I am Cuban. In 2005, I came to the U.S. with a K-1 visa to marry my American fiancee, but I did not marry her for a number of reasons. My daughter, Jessica Alvarez who is fifteen now, came with a K-2 visa. We applied for permanent residence based on the Cuban Adjustment. On February 04, 2008, an immigration officer in Miami told us our cases were not denied, but they had to be put on hold. Please, how can my daughter and I find a solution to our immigration limbo?
Thank you so much for your time and attention, Roman O. Alvarez |
