Leaving USA after applying for GREEN CARD
Hey, my mother in law has a 10 years visa. She come in USA in Oct. got 6 months. We applied for a Green Card, but for health reasons she needs to go back to Romania in April or within these 6 months. Now, we didn't get any ''sign'' from Immigration. If she needs to leave what else can happen beside us loosing the $350 for the appl. fee? Is her visa still good after she applied for GC, will she be able to came back and reaply? Thank you!

She can apply again--but you should have an immigration lawyer review your details briefly and confirm before you take any action.
Slight changes in your details could affect your options in this area. |
