Fiance & I are planning on getting married
My fiance & I are planning on getting married in about a week and we have a child together. I am needing to know what we need to do after we get married to get him legal in the U.S.......Any information would be helpful. Thank you

I wish to inform you that child can become US Citizen if either of the parent is a US Citizen. A child has right through its parent to be a US Citizen. Further if child s born in USA then child is US Citizen by birth. Further if your fiance is not a US Citizen then your fiance can adjust status based upon marriage. If your fiance has entered illegally then adjustment of status may not be done.

Even you have a child, you can't get an automatic green card, first tell me who have the USA citizen. With the help of us citizen your spouse can get green card through fiancee visa., apply K-1 visa through I-129F application form submit at USCIS.
