I'm a US resident about to marry a European (work permit, green card)
Hello,
I have a green card and i'll be marrying a European next year. Will he be able to have a visa / work permit / green card through our mariage? Is it better to get married in the US or in Europe? Should he come over with some fiancee visa? I'm looking for the easiest way to get my furture husband to the US with a working permit so that we can live there together. Thank you Stephanie |

I wish to inform you that your fiance can have Green Card after marriage. In this regard, your fiance can have Green Card under family of a permanent resident under preference category. For this, Form I-130 may be filed. Further, as regards as your fiance working in the USA; after the fiance will qualify for Green Card and is issued the Green Card he may work in USA.
