Question about changing the job
Hello,
I have a dilemma. I am employment-based (3rd category) and all of applications have been approved. The priority date for my category is August 20,2002 and right now the cases from August 1,2002 are being solved. For last 6 months, however, the priority date that is being solved has not changed. I got an excellent job offer, but wonder whether it is not too big of a risk to change the employer. I am eligable under the portability rule, but I am concerned about taking the risk. Is it generally safe to change the job if it has been 180 days and job is similar (including the salary)? What would be your advice to do in this situation? I would appreciate your help D. |
