What papers do I exactly need?
Hi, I came to US twice. During my first visit (J-1 visa) I got a criminal record for misdemeanor. Next summer I came to USA for the second time (J-1 again) and 4 months later exchanged it for a Tourist visa in order to keep my legal status in the country. Tourist visa expired in March,2008. Since then I've been an illegal alien.
I'm getting married soon. My fiancee is an american citizen. Can anyone please help with what exactly papers I will need to fill out? And, more important, can my criminal record cause any problems? Thanks. |
