Deported, when can I apply for a US visa?
My husband was deported in 2002, he enter legally in 1997 but overstayed, he was deported but they didn't give anything, he even arrived in his country with no passport, I don't know if they forgot to give it to him or what happened, but they just sent him to his country with no papers telling him for how long he was "punished", so we don't know when to apply for a visa. It's being 7 years, so, we should just show up at the American Embassy and apply for a tourist visa? or what can we do? Thank you......
