Refund of the visa fee
My husband, 4-year old son and I have applied for Canadian tourist visa 2 days ago. We are from Croatia and came in person to Canadian embassy in Vienna, our visa was not denied nor confirmed, the office asked for some additional informations regarding my husband's serving the army (photocopy of his military book) so that they could decide. However, since yesterday the law has changed and Croatian citizens do not need visa anymore to enter Canada.
My question is - are we entitled to refund of the visa fee we payed (225 canadian dollars) since it doesn't exist any more? I must say once more - our case was not closed, it is in the process. Last edited by dujson; Mar 28th, 2009 at 04:19 AM. |
