My husband and I went on a interview for the I-130 and after completing the interview, he was detained (he honestly did not have a good lawyer. he just gave him false hope while taken his money). My husband was finally deported 6 months later and I did not hear anything about our I-130 interview. I have been down to INS several times and no one seem to know what is going on.
I was told by the 800 number (INS) that our file was out of the processing period. First of all, what is the procedures for the I-130. No one can seem tell me the procedure. Secondly, if it is finally approved, how can I attempt to get my husband back to the U.S. Finally, what is considered hardship (even though I know that I am going through hardship), but what does the law say. and How can we get part of his periof of ineligibility wavied. Thank you very much. |
