If have a green card can i file for my fiance .And how long will take the procceses

It usually takes about 3-5 years to process fully a green card holder's petition for a spouse visa. during that time, you are not allowed to live here based on the petition. Make sure you have a visa (student or work) that enables you to be legal here.

i only know marrying a green card holder takes longer time to get your green card than marrying a citizen. you might need wait several years. if your spouse can be citizen soon, you should wait till he become citizen, then you can get green card in 5 months. check which one is longer. i mean if he needs 5 years to become citizen, then same thing, but if he only needs 1 yr to be a citizen, then why not wait until he got citizen as long as you are in status.
