AP - Palestinian diplomats in Geneva say they have gathered enough support to call a special debate in the U.N. Human Rights Council on alleged war crimes in Gaza earlier this year.
A U.N. official confirmed the event will take place. The staff member demanded anonymity because the official announcement hasn't been made. The debate will concern a U.N. report led by Judge Richard Goldstone that accuses both Israeli forces and Palestinian militants of war crimes and possible crimes against humanity. More... |
