Default mr fe]reight

I was questioned in Belgium regarding a vat carousel fraud between 1-06-06 and 31-12-06, each time i was questioned i asked for legal representation, and on each time i was refused. I have now been arested in the UK ( Not by the police, but by HMRC Her Majestys Revenue and Customs)and my statements are been used in evidence against me. I have not been charged just bailed to re appeer at a later date. I have asked numerous peopple regarding the legalatiys of the supposed formal interviews in Belgioum, but to no evail. Can you help regarding this matter. Questions i need answering are....

1, The supposed formal interview i made in Belgium can it be used in the UK

2, How will this affect my rights

3, I thought everybody had the right to legal representation

You could have refused to speak until a lawyer was present. You may possibly be able to exclude that evidence in the UK courts--but the investigators will still have it.
