Infringement of Human Rights in Greece

I am a British citizen working in Greece, the company that I work for have not paid teh staff since August, the company are refusing to fire us and we are unable to claim any money/benefits from the Government because we are still officially employed, and our bosses have told us if we leave the job we will never see the money we are owed. We are now living on hand outs from friends and family, we have consulted the citizens advice office who have told us that we can get a lawyer to try and claim our money but we have to pay for the lawyer upfront (we have no money) and the case willl take 2-3 years, surely this is an infringement of our basic Human Rights (22-25). We are stuck in this terrible situation, no-one wants to help (I have tried the Bristish Embassy) but they can't/won't get involved, what should my next step be? surely there is an International or European Law, Greece is part of Europe but do not seem to adhere to European laws, can anyone advise please?
