Can I be fired for refusing to provide y cell phone number to everyone at work? I work at a moving company and my boss wants me to use my personal cell phone as the emergency contact number for the drivers to call on weekends if they have a problem. Some of these guys have already "hit on" me at the office and i do not feel comfortable with them having my cell number. I don't care about being on call but I don't think I should have to use my personal cell phone, for which I pay the bill, for work related calls.

They cannot really force you to do it. But it would be good to work out some kind of compromise.
...perhaps they could pay for a simple second phone or a second line etc. |
