RE: Employment Disneyland
I filled out an application at Disneyland and I was honest and stated I had felonies, I got hired and went through their process with orientation, filled out their felony disclaimers etc.Now the day before I was supposed to start they call me to let me know that unfortunately I didn't pass the background check. I have no violent, sex crimes. My felonies are drug-related crimes. I have all the Disneyland information they gave me about being hired. It doesn't seem fair for what they put me through causing stress, depression, I turned down jobs during the time of this hiring process thinking I was hired because they gave me proof of being employed with them. I wonder how many ex-felons are going through this inconvenient treatment, at our expense. I never even received any type of payment for my time.. Please let me know if theirs something I can do. |

There is not. I'm surprised they considered you at all considering their squeaky clean image. Something else must have shown up and that was too much for them to take.

I believe Florida is at will so you may be out of luck. It couldn't hurt to speak with a local attorney. They may give you some free insight. Check out lawyers.com or litigatr.com for some Florida Employment attorneys. But as sunlover says, it may be best to move on.

FYI: Disneyland is in CALIFORNIA, not Florida. Disney World is in Florida. And there is also a Shanghai Disney Resort and a Disneyland Paris (France).

It's irrelevant as every state but Montana is employment at will (so is Montana they just have more exceptions)...
