Default Wrongful Termination? Never Notified of Termination by Employer.

I have been working for Dish Network in Texas. About 3 months ago, they suspended me saying I stole speakers from a customers home. There were 3 other technicians at the job with me. They all gave statements that I did not steal the speakers. None of them were ever suspended. I was told by HR that a decision would be made within one week. One week passed...nothing. I called, and called, and called... Finally, after about 3 weeks I got in touch with the secretary of the CEO. Within a week I received a call from the lady in HR. She was angry about me calling and said that I would have an answer by Friday. Friday came and went. I called again. When I finally got in touch with the HR lady, she said that she didn't know when I would have an answer. I gave up. Well, now it has been at least 3 months. I just got an email saying that my bill went up from $15 to $177! I called to find out what happened. They put a note on my account that I had been terminated and my employee discount was revoked. I never got a phone call or anything from Dish to tell me that I was terminated. Do I have any rights here?

Do you know what wrongful termination is? If not let me help, its a termination that violates law or employee contract this includes Union contracts. Tell us which of these was violated

You can approach a lawyer and file a complaint in your state's labor department or the U.S. Department of Labor. To meet the definition of unlawful, the termination must clearly violate an employment statute rather than merely seem unfair. The U.S. Department of Labor investigates claims on behalf of employees who lose their jobs.
