Big Grin hiring discrimination

I was not hired for a private company job for the following reason
1. My other-than-honorable discharge.
My reply was I also have a honorable discharge and all the implied benefits that come with it. Can the company not hire me on this basis. thanks from maybe veteran!

It unfortunately is not illegal to choose not to hire you under those circumstances.
