Confused confused

Legal Concern: I was fixing a safety issue on the sales floor in the shelving aisle and took the cart back to receiving when i was told by the ASM that i needed to take it back out onto the floor and leave it there i tried to explain to him what the problem was and he told me that i needed to goto the managers office after arriving he told me he was writing me up for insubordination i then tried to explain to him again the problem and he said he i was talking down to him and that i was being disrespectful which is when he pushed me against a wall and pushed me around the room i finally got out of the room and he followed me out and continued to rant i was injured in the process with an abrasion on the back of my left leg the next day i was fired for insubordination even while trying to fix a safety issue and after bieng attacked by the ASM he was also fired the next day Do i have any kind of case with this

If he actually touched or injured you, you can file a police report.

They can fire you if you were not following orders...even if you think they were wrong. You have to dispute those issues with higher managers.

You could consult your nearest Department of Labor office to briefly discuss the issue with them first...you may also want to ask the company to put what is happening in writing and explain to them that you may have attorneys review the situation...try speaking to a higher level of management about the issue; they may override the other managers.
