immediate supervisor has a real dislike for me

My \"immediate supervisor\" has a real dislike for me and has harrassed and humiliated me almost from the start. I\'ve been demeaned in front of my coworkers, been accused all sorts of things I didn\'t do and was denied a raise. After I contacted the Director of HR, things went from bad to worse-- I have been looking for another job for months with no success. Their behavior is affecting me mentally, emotionally and health wise. I\'m constantly under so much stress.

There is no law dictating you must continue to work there. Quit and save yourself much aggravation. There are plenty of "nicer" places to work. It's not worth losing your health over. Why would anyone even want to work under such ridiculous circumstances? This employment is one of the millions out there that prove a person does not have to be mature or smart in order to be in business.

I agree--no job is worth that. And unfortunately bad management is not illegal so not much you can do if higher managers will not take action to help you.
