Default doctors notes?

i am from newhampshire i was out for 2 weeks verys sick where i had to go to the emergency room everyday for 5 days for iv treatments i was very sick and had a very stiff neck my job said doctors notes are not worth anything to them and they told me i had unexcused abscences from work any more and i would get fired do they have the right to do that i thought doctors notes are legal?

A Doctors note carries no force of law. How many employees does your employer have? How long have you worked there? I wondering if fmla may apply for you

They cannot fire you for illness alone but you do need to follow whatever rules they have set up to confirm you were sick etc. You do need to report in by phone etc. and let them know what is happening normally unless it is an emergency situation.
