Need help please!

Were on the pointing system at work and HR took 1/2 point from me stating that I was late one day. I knew I wasn't...went back and looked at my paycheck stub and worked 52 hours that week. How do I approach getting this point back?

Hello there. It is a bit difficult to tell from your post exactly what took place here. However, each state has an agency charged with upholding the wage and hour laws. I would be glad to provide you with more specific information, but without knowing your jurisdiction I cannot do so. If you will do an Internet search with the name of your state, you can find your office and file a wage claim. Hope it works out. AJJ

File a complaint with upper management--that should resolve it-- but if need be go to small claims or file with the dept of labor office nearest you.
