Question Medical

New York.....I was terminated from my job due to Breach of confidentiality. Was warned of the same incidence on three occassions which lead up to termination; however I feel that this was a set up by an overload of work that by my boss, and harrassment of getting work done, checking on my work, standing over me and correcting me in the mist of helping a patience's request. I had several duties that was too much of a work load for one person. My supervisor insisted that it has been done, and did not support or allow enough assistance. I often asked for support and did not receive it. When I was away from my desk for one hour lunch, or not in for the day; there would be 2 or more persons covering my desk for phones, patient visits, messages, faxing, stamping paper, pulling charts, mailing etc. I was deied unemployment, and will have a hearing in two days over the phone. What and how should I handle this situation. I'm I still entiled. Have been working for about 16 months.

You can tell them just what you have said here. They certainly should allow unemplyment.

If you feel need to prep for your hearing ask World law if they can help you confer with a lawyer briefly. Maybe they could arrange it.
