humiliated
living in virginia. the safety officer at my job is starting a new breathing respirator program. i have a full beard. he tells me i will only be permitted to have a goatee as the respirator will not make a proper seal against my skin. furthermore, he says i will lose my job if i do not shave. we are rarely required to wear respirators. can they legally fire me?

Though in some cases they do have to try to accommodate you reasonably if at all possible.
What is the respirator for? What specific work. |
