Dear Dear I know you hear all time but here my case I was fired because claim I abandon my post for seven min but I work alone for three days and I have diabetes the seven I was in restroom after having to hold my urine for almost 71/2 hours of work claim I did tell any one but I did the previous admin supervisor for my shift and have fax paper stating I would be working alone for the next 2 week prior before the times of that day and the person i told said will tell the next person i was alone too. And I was told I abandon my post for going to bathroom and taking time to find a ride which took my time i don't drive and said because i di not tell the person i forward the phone too either i tried but i hurting from my bladder and was starting to pee on mt self a little and had to good so I did. Claim let phone ring but i was going to ring we don't have proper telephone system to answer calls like a major company like ATT. I work for a local hospital and there was no policy saying if work alone do this no one knew work alone and would it not be a liberality for me leaving to go to bathroom i cover the fire and a phone need to call in case of a patient dieing too. I have never sign that and it never a policy i have seen and the people whom take the phone is the ER whom i know don't have time would the have to sign a paper too saying they cant be held liable either. So in all do I have a case to tell a lawyer and unemployment office too or no am i just out of luck. and Yes i have made compliant about being left alone to previous manager and new one to upper management and CEO too and got no help.

You could consult your nearest Department of Labor office to briefly discuss the issue with them first...you may also want to ask the company to put what is happening in writing and explain to them that you may have attorneys review the situation...try speaking to a higher level of management about the issue; they may override the other managers. If none of these efforts resolves the issue, let us know.
