I worked at a non profit for 7 months when I found out I was pregnant. My relationship with supervisor changed after I informed him. He wrote me up once after he found out i was pregnant for not completeing a task even though I had already gone home after working and hour of over time and I had spotting earlier that week and he said he was ok with me taking it easy. When I had any MD appts. I had to schedule during my lunch break and if they went over an hour I was expected to stay after work and make up my time. There was another co worker who had a fall at work. She was allowed to take her lunch and schedule her md appts and not return after to make up any time. I complained to him 4 weeks ago and I said I felt it was unfair for her md appts to be treated different from mine.
The following week I left work early for an appointment with my son. The next day I noticed that money was missing. I immediatly informed him. There was 1900.00 missing. Only 2 people had keys to my desk where the money was kept him and I. The following week I was fired for negligence for the money not being put in the safe. I was put in a money box and locked in my desk. I've never had a key to the safe only he has that so I had to rely on him. I didnt think much of it since it's an at will employer. Until I find out that this week 7 days after I was let go there was another 1100.00 missing from the desk. Even though the new admin gave him the money to put in the safe he didnt he did what i did and left it in the desk. But this time they are not firing him he's getting a write up. It's obvious to everyone that he has something to do with the missing money. But I feel like I was let go because I am pregnant and I complained about being discriminated for being pregnant. Do I have a claim here? |

If you to file discrimnation due to your condition you need proof. Currently you have none.
