Default Employers Lying

Why is it that employer's are not held accountable if they lie about termination reasons to the unemployment office and why can't you use what they say to the unemployment office in court?

You can sue them if they lie and they indeed can be held accountable.

The case worker at the unemployment office told me that I can't not use whatever is said by the employer to the unemployment office in court. Employer said one thing, which wasn't true...then a week later changed the story. But I had proof that my 1st and only statement was to be true and correct.

Unemployment tends to side with employers because there is more money in it.

You can ask your employer, within a certain time frame, to put in writing the reason for your termination.

Send the request certified, return receipt requested.

You can use any evidence you have in court. Unemployment office was wrong with their "advice".
