If I was hired for employment and offered a position and then suddenly the job description changes and I am denied a job because of a poor reference from a previous employer is there any recourse for me. Is this legal to defame someones character? How can I investigate this? |

If they said something false (like you stole 300 dollars) you can sue them, but they if they just gave their opinion there is not too much you can do.
