what to do when employee blackmaills employer

Hello, my son is a CNA. He was working at a small NH, where they train CNA's and then hire them. He was working a weekend baler shift and had tried to get one day switched so he could go to his sisters graduation. Which they did. There are 3 hispanic girls who work at the NH too, and to say it lightly they hate him, and...he doesn't like them either. However, when he got the one day changed, the 3 of them went to the admistrator and told him " if he's put on the shift we quit". The NH has a hard time keeping people b/c it is out in the country. So the administrator took him off the shift for 3 weeks, which would be the time when 2 of the girls would be quitting to go back to school. He was talked to about some of his behavior, the week before, but was never given the opportunity to correct his actions. He has never worked with any of these girls either, however, these three girls are also complaining about a nurse who has been there for 10 years and is strict-by the book, and isn't warm fuzzy person, but does an excellent job. will does my son have a leg to stand on? he ended up quitting b/c he has to make a living too. Is this discrimination? Harrassement? anything else??? thx juleeque
