Default Can I have any personal liability as a former employee?

I live in TX. I was the Service Dir. for an autodealer.I was fired in mid-June after an audit was done in my dept by the manufacturer's representative. At that time, no punitive action was taken against the dealership. I was fired a few days later and have been out of work since. Now,four months after my termination the manufacturer is repeatedly calling me and demanding that I come in for lengthy interviews, alleging intentional warranty fraud, which I have repeatedly stated that I was unaware of and did not participate in.They are trying to go after my former employer for a 'culture of corruption' and keep implying that I might be held personally responsible. I did not work for the manuf, I was an employee of franchised location. This large auto manuf that I did not work directly for is now demanding that I come in for a 3rd interview sending me msgs that say "You are putting yourself at a disadvantage by not making yourself available."Do I have any personal liability at this point? Can any charges be filed against me by either the manufacturer or my former employer who is a franchised location car dealership? I was employed by the dealership (not the manufacturer who is conducting the investigation) and then dismissed by the dealership. I am currently collecting unemployment as my firing was deemed to be "through no fault of my own" by the TX workforce commission.

You don't need to take any further action, or even speak with them. They can try to file charges against you but have to have proof and real, tangible evidence.

Assuming you did nothing wrong, there will be no such evidence.
