I was fired after being employed for 3 weeks. Apparently my background check has 2 charges on it. 1 was "nolle prosequi" and the other I received supervision and fulfilled my end of it. Both charges should not be on my BG check since they're not convictions, but they did cost me my job. Secondly I was not given a pre adverse action letter or a chance to see my report. I made phone calls to find out what happened. These charges stem from 3+ years ago and I have really made an effort to change my life. How can you when stupid stuff like this happens. Is there anything I can do?
