My employer has less than 15 workers (6 employees total)and I\'ve been
reading that the law only protects pregnant women who are being discriminated or treated unfairly if they work for a company that has at least 15 employees. Is this true? Are there any laws that protect pregnant women like myself that work for a really small company? I was just told that I\'ll be fired if I have to leave work again due to an illness. The fact that it is pregnancy related and that it required medical attention, matters not to my boss. I look forward to your response. Rosie Alejandrino |
