by mike debellis,
Junior Member I had the house deed/title of my mothers home legally notorized and changed to myself by an attorney on 9/04. I did not file the paperwork with the county clerks office until 12/05. I may need to go to medicaid for my mothers well-being and safety, possibly a nursing home. I understand there is the 36 month rule in westchester county, ny. I am un-clear if filing the notorized deed late will cause me a problem with 36 month rule which would be 09/07. Please clarify my rights on this matter. |
