I got the bill for getting to emergency room. A friend of mine called police and asked them to get me into hospital as a was drunk. Police took me to emergency room, they got my ID from my handbag. So i got bill. I have a student status, have no credit card and no insurance. I dont work. I have no money to pay for the bill. Do I really hae to pay for it. Can I protest it?

If you needed the care you have to pay--but if you have no assets they frankly will have a hard time collecting from you.

the facility will probably ding your credit. That's a tough start as a student and then going into the world. Unfortunately, you are responsible for the medical bill.
